BrownStone Real Estate's story is rooted in four generations of real estate excellence, industry expertise, and a steady commitment to putting people first. Yes, we have a deep market knowledge, but many other firms could say the same.
What makes us different is our shift of focus—for us, it isn’t about the transaction but about the transformation—transforming a house into a home, a sale into an investment, or a client into a friend. Sometimes, that emphasis on the relationship means helping our clients decide to stay in their homes because the timing isn’t right yet.
Through 25+ years of doing business in and around real estate, Rhett Brown learned exactly what kind of company she wanted to create. BrownStone Real Estate is a firm where trust, transparency, and personal connections come before profit.
Our Story
Real estate is, simply put, the family business. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t work for our success. If anything, it means passion and a desire for excellence are intrinsic to us and run in our blood. It means we will work harder than anyone, do the jobs no one wants to do, and serve everyone with the same level of attention and service. Founding cousins Rhett Brown and Kirby Stone’s grandfather, E.E. Stone, Jr., was a self-made real estate business leader never too proud to get his hands dirty. His tireless work ethic was passed down to his granddaughters, who lead BrownStone with this same spirit. No task is too small if it means improving the process for the client.
